Tomorrow we look forward to the Strawberry Supermoon in Capricorn. I believe this is the last Supermoon of the calendar year. I am hoping to be able to watch this moon as it settles in the night sky over the ocean this weekend but it’s looking like it may be cloudy…. Bummer. Still, that full moon energy will be amazing. Regardless of what sign the moon is in, I always look at the full moon as a time to reassess my goals, make sure I’m on the right path, adapt if necessary, or even scrap my original plan and take some time to develop a new one. This particular full moon, however, has me focused on continued planning, goals that are realistic and making sure I am truly grounded in my ambition and desire for success. According to the Tamed Wild crew at Magick & Alchemy, Jupiter will have an impact on my ability to connect with my innate wisdom, which I desperately need, in order to achieve abundance in my endeavors. I have some fairly deeply rooted issues with embracing abundance that a past life reading has somewhat explained but I still have a long way to go to overcome these blocks. I am fairly new to business. My talent is intuitive support, coaching, and empathic connection. Business is something I struggle with but I keep taking careful steps toward the goal of making THIS my career. I don’t want to settle. I want to live the life I choose; to live the life my soul was meant to live; to fulfill the purpose that is mine alone. So, it is time for me to determine what it is, exactly, that is holding me back from fully embracing this life I long for. Does this resonate with you, too? The NEXT full moon is July 23rd and I will be hosting a Full Moon in Aquarius Lunar Ritual. Find the Facebook event link here. This ritual will be a gathering of people all seeking peace, love, and hope. This is a non-judgment zone. We come as we are and help each other navigate the difficulties life presents and celebrate the successes. For THIS event, we will be talking about cords and attachments. Every time we interact with someone, a cord manifests between us. We should really make a habit out of detaching ourselves from these cords but life is busy and many times, we aren’t overly affected by the connections. However minor these connections, over time they can build up and become heavy to carry, and it can be healthy to remove all those unnecessary cords that have built up over time for our own sanity! Sometimes, though, we find ourselves connected to people whose energy is no good for us. These cords and attachments shift our equilibrium and have power over our emotions and thoughts. They can make us sick- mentally, physically, and spiritually. Sadly, we become so used to these attachments that we accept the toxicity and just deal with feeling bad all the time.
Now, to be clear, I am not saying that the people who live at the other end of the cord is bad… just that their energy has become toxic for us. They could be perfectly good for other people. Maybe even at one time they were good for us, too. Not every connection was meant to last forever. Now is a good time to work through the grammar of these attachments. Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? For this ritual, we will allow each other to be honest, and we will be supportive of that truth, and we will answer these questions together. Together, we will remove the cords that no longer serve us under the powerful energy of that Full Moon.
