Hi everyone! Welcome to your daily card pull! Today I have chosen the Starseed Oracle Deck by Rebecca Campbell. I fell in love with the idea of Starseed a few years ago because it resonated with me so well. I have never fit in and I remember feeling like I didn’t quite belong at age 4 in the Kindergarten classroom. There were just so many things I didn’t understand and I never knew quite how to be- to act, what to say, how to dress… so it made me a bit weird to my peers.
Maybe I’m a Weirdo- Maybe I’m a Starseed….
It wasn’t always easy being in this skin. As I got older I accepted that I was different- not better or worse than anyone else- just different, and I knew that I could embrace myself and maximize the wonder of being me or fade away and reject myself. I believe that we are all made in God’s image and as a result we are wonderfully and beautifully made- exactly as we are. So I chose to embrace the gift of what I perceived as weirdness and use it like a superpower for good! When I cam across the concept “Starseed” it instantly grabbed me. There were others like me out there in this crazy world. I was still weird, I still never quite fit in…. but I’m not the only one and that feels amazing.
Whether we’re from different planets or star systems, or just plain old human with a bit of awkward thrown in- you are welcome to this crazy club of wonderful weirdos. We’re a good sort and we welcome all of you!
