I decided to pull a card from my Shadowscapes Tarot before I go to bed. This deck is stunning. It tells a beautiful story. It is like a bubbling brook on a summers day, or the caress of a warm breeze. When I need a moment with beauty, to be reminded that my story, your story, and the story of every other human being on the planet is part of the same magical and magnificent tapestry, I pull out this deck. It is romantic. It is the definition of whimsy.
I don’t often pull cards from my tarot decks for single card pulls. I feel that the oracles are usually better for these kinds of readings but tonight I was called to this deck. This card is meant for someone. You know who you are.
This card is all about triumph. It is more than overcoming troubles, it is unequivocal victory after a long term struggle. You have been trying to find your balance as the ground shakes beneath you. After feeling scattered and unsure for so long you have finally found the focus needed to see your life clarity, and the people in it for who they are. It is time to stand strong, to become a force of will, one to be reckoned with. You never thought you could do it, but you will and now you are on your way to achieving that ultimate goal you have longed to accomplish. You are finally tired of being weak and confused. You are becoming. Can you feel the electricity of this moment as it thrums through your veins?
This card is about embracing your confidence, to come into your power and authority in a world that has been turned upside down. I’m not just talking Covid or politics…. I’m talking YOU. Instead of living your life, being in control, holding the reins, you have allowed your life to happen to you. Other people have controlled and led you down paths you would never have chosen for yourself. Instead, you went with it because traded your belief in yourself for fragility. Yes, the ground upon which you walk is fragile but YOU are not. YOU are strong. At least, you were. Now, you must rise to the occasion, build your confident, fortify your will with the knowledge that you are finished with being a victim of circumstances.
